Arsenic-free display glass
BFR-free
PVC-free5
Reduced packaging volume
Meets ENERGY STAR Version 5.2 requirements

Upgraders can take advantage of Apple's recycling program.

No mention of any improvements in the environmental impact of the product's manufacture.
