The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) announced that "it has assembled a record number of exhibitors who will showcase solutions for alternative energy and service assurance in the “Green Pavilion” at SCTE Cable-Tec Expo® in November in Atlanta, GA

SCTE says that its Expo will also feature sessions on "such topics as Alternative and Renewable Powering; Backup Powering; Power Efficiency; Power Reduction; Recycling and Recovery; and Travel Reduction…In addition to the Green Pavilion, SCTE also will offer…Facilities Management workshops on…Smart Energy Management strategies for increasing power efficiency and green initiatives."
